ALBA WINE EXHIBITION
During the second week in May, the producers of the
Langa and Roero districts will be hosting fifty specialised
journalists from the Italian and foreign press, who
will be offered the unique opportunity to taste over
300 new vintage wines which will be released for sale
during the year.
Thanks to the cooperation of the Municipality of Alba,
the event will be held in the extensive bright spaces
of Alba’s Exhibition and Congress Centre.
The tastings will all be blind and divided according
to the denomination of origin and the subzone from which
they come.
At the end of the tasting sessions, the journalist
will meet the producers so that they can further analyse
and discuss the technical and qualitative aspects of
the wines presented.
The best Langa and Roero restaurants will host the
“Dinners of the Stars” every night, offering
a chance to learn how to serve the wines with the traditional
local dishes. This will give journalists another opportunity
to meet the producers participating in the event in
a more relaxed, convivial setting.
